DNR Postpones Wolf Hunting License Sales

Posted: Updated:

Michigan DNR is postponing the sale of wolf hunting licenses by almost two months.

They're concerned the license retail sales system won't be able to handle the high demand.

Licenses were originally scheduled to go on sale August 3rd.

Now, sales begin September 28th at noon until October 31st or until the license quota is met.

A total of 1200 licenses will be available to buy on a first-come, first-served basis.

Licenses are $100 for people who live in Michigan and $500 for non-residents.

Wolf hunting season will begin as scheduled on November 15.
