UPDATE: Two People in Hospital After Serious Crash in Grand Traverse County

UPDATE:

The driver of the Jeep was Ian Hathaway, a 17-year-old from Traverse City. Both he and his 17-year-old passenger, Tyler Morse, are still in the hospital.

The driver of the semi, from Traverse City, wasn't hurt.

This accident still remains under investigation.

A crash in Grand Traverse County sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries. It happened at the intersection of Garfield and Potter Roads near Traverse City.

Police say the jeep didn't stop at the intersection and was hit by a semi. The driver of the semi was not hurt.

The two people in the jeep are now at Munson with serious injuries.

    Breaking news tonight, 9&10 News learned convicted murderer Eric Knysz tried to hang himself in prison. We have confirmed Knysz is now on life support. Knysz was just sentenced last week to life in prison
    UPDATE: 9 & 10 News has just confirmed that convicted murderer Eric Knysz has been declared brain dead.

    Knysz was on life support after the suicide attempt that took place Monday afternoon.
