MORE DETAILS: Crop Duster Plane Crashes in Otsego County

Otsego County EMS tells 9&10 News the pilot has been transported to a burn unit in Flint.

Michigan State Police say Evans was hired by a local farmer to spray pesticides on crops.

State Police are still not able to say where Evans is from.

They will continue to monitor the area until federal investigators arrive.

9&10 news is closely following breaking news out of Otsego County right now.

We've learned a crop duster plane crashed just before 4:30 p.m. near the  Otsego-Antrim County line on County 42 and Camp 10 Road -- West of  Gaylord. The pilot Craig Evans sustained burns but was conscious, alert and walking.
