Charlevoix County Sheriff's Office reports a car accident near Pearsall Road just south of Boyne City- East Jordan Road in Wilson Township.

Police say a silver car was involved in a crash, and injuries were on sire.

Patricia Henning, 80-years-old, was driving with a 6-year-old. Patricia is from Boyne City.

She was driving South on Pearshall Road, and said she swerved to miss a deer in the road. She said swerving made her lose control of her car.

She hit a driveway culvert and spun around 180 degrees before the car stopped. Henning reported back pain from the accident.

Alcohol was not a factor in the accident and both passengers were wearing seat belts. They were both taken to Charlevoix Area Hospital where they were treated for their injuries.
