UPDATE: Missing Emmet County Boy Found Safe

9 a.m. (Wednesday) UPDATE:

The search for missing 13-year-old Dalton Loesch is over.

The Emmet County Sheriff's Department has confirmed that Dalton was found safe in the Cross Village area Wednesday morning.

6:00 p.m. (Tuesday) UPDATE:

The search continues for 13-year-old Dalton Loesch.

Crews are focusing their efforts in the area of N. State Rd., and Island View Rd, in Readmond Township.

9&10's Christina Vecchioni and photojournalist Eric Davis were at the scene and have more details on the role this heat is playing in the search.

The Emmet County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing boy in the Harbor Springs Area.

Dalton Loesch is 13-years-old and has been missing since July 15th at 12:00 p.m.

Police say he was last seen running into the woods. The search area is near N.  State Road and Island View Rd, Readmond twp. in Emmet County.

Loesch is a Hispanic male, 4'8" and 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue shorts, orange-red shirt and white tennis shoes.

He has brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses.

Police have activated a missing child alert. If you have any information regarding this missing child please call 231) 439-8900.
