UPDATE: Police Still Searching for Hit and Run Suspect

Posted: Updated:

Police are still searching for the driver of a hit and run vehicle that killed Kelly Hurlbert.

Kelly was riding her bike home from work on July 5th when she was struck by a dark colored SUV or truck on Washington Street in Traverse City.

Accident re constructionists from the Michigan State Police are working with the city department, as well as the Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office.

Police have received more than 370 tips so far, and the reward is now up to $50,000.

If you have any information on who may have been the driver, you're asked to call the Traverse City Police Department.

-----------------------------------------------------

There are still so many questions surrounding Kelly's death and friends and family members are chipping in to find out what happened in the early morning of July 5th.

Friends of Kelly's are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to those responsible.

On top of that the family is holding a ceremony Thursday at F and M Park to celebrate Kelly's life and even take off on a memorial bike ride around Traverse City.

But so far this week the focus has been finding who hit Kelly and they are certain somebody out there knows something.
