Feedback at 5:00: Barbie As An Average Sized Woman

Posted: Updated:

Since first being introduced back in 1959, Barbie has held plenty of jobs.

She's been a teacher, a surgeon, a paratrooper, a Presidential candidate, a life guard, astronaut, and yes, even a news anchor.

But now, artist Nickolay Lamm wants people to consider what Barbie would look like if she had an average woman's measurements.

As you can see from the pictures, there is a major difference in the doll's build.

Lamm says, "if Barbie looks good as an average sized woman in America, what's stopping Mattell from making one?"

What do you think of the comparison? Should Mattell make a "real" Barbie, and if they did, do you think it would sell well?

It's tonight's "Feedback at 5:00."
