Friday's Local Sports Coverage (7/5)

Posted: Updated:

On Friday our friend Ira Childress paid us a visit to discuss a new event coming to Northern Michigan next week.

For the first time ever, the Lake Michigan Football Report will be hitting the road in search of the state's best football players with the 2013 "Best of the Best" Football Combine Tour.

The tour will hit Northern Michigan on Tuesday July 9th and Cheboygan HS, followed by a stop at Big Rapids HS on July 10th.

After the tour is over, the Lake Football Michigan Football Report will compile a list of the top 100 football players throughout the state.
