9 and 10 news spoke with several businesses today who say their foot traffic has been non-stop from open to close all week.
Today was exceptionally busy with the people off for the holiday, and The Junior Royale Parade happening downtown.
There's been non-stop demand for frozen yogurt at sugarkissed on front street.
And next door at Kilwins they say sales are definitely up from last year.
Kilwins has had seven people working every shift and they say it's still tough to keep up with people wanting a sugar fix.
