The streets of Evart were bustling quite early this morning for a run designed for a good cause.
The 2nd Annual Evart 4th of July 5k Run started at 9:00 a.m. at the Evart High School.
Runners crossed the finish line at Riverside Park.
Former Evart High School runner, Katelyne Van Mourik was the honorary race starter.
Mourik is recovering from a car accident that occurred just last year. She was in a coma for 2 months.
Organizers of the event say Evart was a great place to hold such a meaningful event.
