The minor league baseball season heating up in Northern Michigan.  Tuesday took us to Dow Diamond and Weurfel Park as the Loons, Whitecaps and Beach Bums were all in action.

Traverse City trying to keep an impressive streak going that has seen them win seven of their last 10 games.  Unfortunately the River City Rascals got the better of the Bums tonight winning 5-3.  T.C. still clinging to first place in the Frontier League East Division by one game.

Meanwhile at Dow Diamond, an all-Michigan rivalry renwed as the Loons hosted the Whitecaps.  The baby Tigers getting the better of this matchup.  Harold Castro hit the go ahead homer in the ninth as the 'Caps won it 4-3.
