Today Native American Culture was celebrated at the National Cherry Festival's Heritage Day.

Music from the Pow Wow could be heard all across the open space as dancers preformed in the traditional event.

The history of the Pow Wow dates back to the 1800s, but tribal leaders say they're held to celebrate major events.

9 and 10's Marisa McKay and photojournalist Jeremy Erickson were in the thick of the Pow Wow today, and learned today's celebration is as much about having fun, as it is about keeping culture alive.
