NCF 2013: Health By the Bay

Visitors can easily pick up some fresh, delicious cherries as they pass through, and they are packed full of health benefits.

The festival's fruit is a very fitting food for today's Health By the Bay event.

People were able to visit over 20 sponsor booths where they could learn how to start living a healthier lifestyle.

In an effort to consolidate resources, there were free health screenings, health club representatives, and medical professionals on hand so people could get a well-rounded idea.

9 and 10's Marisa McKay and photojournalist Jeremy Erickson spent part of the day learning what it takes to become "A Healthier You."
