Feedback at 5:00: Learning to Swim

Posted: Updated:

If you are active on social media, it's pretty likely that you, or your friends post videos of what's going on in their lives, including their children's accomplishments.

But a Texas father is getting plenty of attention for showing his 16 month old daughter, swimming across a pool.

Elizabeth Christensen starts from the side of the pool, face down, and kicks her way across the water.

Her parents hired a professional instructor, who specializes in not teaching the baby to swim, but to use their reflexes instead.

Elizabeth's father says she loves the water.

She swims up to three times a day and can dive under water to pick up toys.

For tonight's Feedback at 5:00 we ask how you taught your children to swim, or how you learned.
