Thursday's Local Sports Coverage (6/27)

Thursday was an exciting day at T.C. West High School. Two months after Brett Graham resigned his post as head coach of the boy's varsity basketball team, the Titans have a new bench boss.

Greg Immink was introduced today as the new head coach for the boy's basketball program.  Immink played collegiately at Hope College.  He also played professionally overseas and most recently was a graduate assistant under Tom Izzo at Michigan State.  

Immink inherits a Titans squad that went 12-9 last year and finished tied atop the Big North with Petoskey and Cadillac.

Also on Thursday, Greg Miller making his way back to Wuerfel Park for the second game of the Beach Bums' series against the Schaumburg Boomers.

It was a pitcher's duel as the Boomers won 1-0 in 11 innings.  However the Bums did turn a triple play! Check it out!
