18th Annual Celebrate Women Luncheon Raises Money for Oasis

Posted: Updated:

A mix of fashion and food raised money for a good cause today, and it was all about celebrating women.

The 18th Annual Celebrate Women Luncheon was this afternoon at the Cadillac Grill.

It benefited Oasis Family Resource Center, and organizers say, while the final total isn't in quite yet, this year's event raised more than $20,000.

Oasis provided shelter for 266 women and children last year alone.

The organization also provides legal advocacy and counseling.

Today's event included raffles and honored women who have dedicated much of their time and efforts to helping the community as a whole.
