Traverse City Man Arrested on Multiple Offenses

Police arrested a 25-year old Traverse City man last night after stopping him for a seatbelt violation.

The officer noticed the man's license was currently suspended, then arrested the driver upon finding he also had a prior driving while license suspended conviction.

After further checking the officer determined that the driver also had 5 outstanding warrants for his arrest in Michigan.

The driver has 3 warrants out of Traverse City, 1 warrant out of Farmington Hills, and 1 misdemeanor warrant out of St. Joseph.

Prior to having the drivers vehicle towed, a vial of cocaine was found.

The driver faces charges of driving while license suspended 2nd offense, possession of cocaine, as well as the 5 outstanding warrants.
