Two Golfers Walk 100+ Holes of Golf for Charity

You can never have enough of a good thing, right?

Two golfers put that to the test today by playing over 100 holes of golf in one day.

They took part in the Hundred Hole Hike, a nationwide network of golfers raising money for charity.

These two played today at the Kingsley Club.

The Hundred Hole Hike asks golfers to vow to play at least 100 holes of golf and walk the entire thing.

The golfers raise money through donations or pledges.

Chris Hufnagel of Grand Rapids raised money for the Traverse Bay Children's Advocacy Center while Chicago's Howard Riefs chose to help out breast cancer research.

The Kingsley Club was the only course in Michigan to host the hike.

Nationwide, there have been 87 pledged hikers raising nearly half a million dollars.

9&10 News' Eric Lloyd and photojournalist Jeff Blakeman walked along with the golfers today for a bit and have more details.
