UPDATE: Identity of Man Who Drowned in Grand Traverse County Released

UPDATE: We can now tell you the name of the man who drowned in Fife lake on Sunday.

The Grand Traverse Sheriff's Office tells 9&10 News the victim was Michael Michalski.

Around 5:30 p.m. Sunday police were called to Fife Lake in Grand Traverse County when a man was found in the water.

The people who found him say he was unresponsive and they tried to give him CPR.

Police say he was pronounced dead at the scene and are still investigating.
