By the time you wake up tomorrow morning it will officially be summer and according to our own meteorologists, the hot, sticky weather is coming with it.
After such a sluggish, cool start to the fishing season, the hot days and warm nights coming in the forecast are sure to change the game going forward into the dog days of summer.
Fish tend to prefer cooler water so as inland lakes warm up, they are going to go deeper or find haven in the shade provided by weeds.
It shouldn't stop fishermen, just change the dynamics.
With the warmth should come plenty of southern winds which will dramatically help warm the frigid waters of Lake Michigan as well.
