UPDATE: Three People Accused of Making Meth and Stealing From U.S. Forest Service

One of 3 people accused of having meth ingredients and stealing from the U.S. Forest Service has been charged.

The incident happened on Saturday afternoon when police pulled over their car in South Branch Township.

Shantell DeBoer has been charged with operating and maintaining a laboratory.

DeBoer and 2 others were flagged for stealing from the forest service's fee tubes.

Then officers found meth making materials in the car and at a nearby campsite.

Kenneth Rathbone was also arrested and has been charged for violating bond in a separate case where an active meth lab was found in his car.

3 people are in trouble with police tonight.

They're accused of having ingredients to make meth and for stealing from the U.S. Forest Service.

On Saturday, police pulled over their car near 481/2 and 51/2 roads.

They were flagged for stealing from the Forest Services fee tubes in the Huron-Manistee National Forest. 

Officers found meth making materials and other drug paraphernalia in the car and at a nearby campsite. 

More charges are expected in the case.
