A new bill has passed in the House that will allow bars and restaurants to sell beer in re-sealable containers, known as growlers.
They can sell any type of beer they want, but industry leaders expect this new bill will cater to craft beer drinkers.
Right now, only breweries who brew their own craft beer can sell growlers.
Bars like 7 Monks Taproom in Traverse City are looking forward to the new bill, and say it will definitely help them with business.
Another bill has been sent to the governor, and that one would allow wine tasting at farmers markets.
