Father Son Duo Charged for Growing Marijuana and Having Unregistered Weapons

Posted: Updated:

A father son duo went before a judge this morning, and they're accused of growing marijuana and for having unregistered weapons.

Both were arrested at a house in Houghton Lake Heights in Roscommon county early Thursday morning.

They're charged with manufacturing marijuana and maintaining a drug house.

The father is also charged with felony firearm.

Michigan State Police say about 90 plants were seized, along with 33 long guns, and 18 handguns.

Some of the guns were collector-style military memorabilia.

But a number of the guns were not registered.
