Feedback at 5:00: Defining DUI

Posted: Updated:

Last night on 9&10 News at 5:00, we told you about proposed, sweeping changes to the definition of drunk driving.

The National Transportation Safety Board is urging states to cut their legal blood alcohol from .08% to .05%.

NTSB officials say alcohol begins to affect perception and your vision at .05.

In 100 countries around the world, .05% is the standard.

The board also wants all convicted DUI offenders to use breathalyzer ignition locks on their cars.

Are you for or against the changes? Why or why not? It's tonight's Feedback at 5:00.
