Thieves Target Kingdom Hall in Clare

Police in Clare county are asking area churches to be on alert after a Jehovah's Witness' Kingdom Hall was broken into.

Police were called to the Kingdom Hall in Clare early yesterday morning.

Nothing was taken, but a window was smashed out and a safe heavily damaged.

The Sheriff's office says church break-ins usually happen in bunches, especially if not successful.

Clare County deputies are searching for whoever broke into a local religious building.

The break-in at the Kingdom Hall in Clare was reported yesterday morning.

Deputies say the thief, or thieves, got away with cash and valuables.

They are asking all churches in the area to be on alert in case others are targeted.
