Governor Snyder Visits Northern Michigan Farm, Checks Out Cow Milking Technology

Cows at one northern Michigan farm had a very special visitor today.

Governor Rick Snyder visited Gingrich Meadows in LeRoy to check out their robotic cow milking system.

The farm is just one of two in the country to have the technology, which Snyder says is a good indication that the agriculture industry in Michigan is moving forward.

The milk the farm produces is only sold in Michigan, and Snyder says he is proud that it is aiding it's helping the state's economy.

The Governor will be in Cadillac and Traverse City tomorrow.
