Feedback at 5:00: Education Changes

Posted: Updated:

It's been 30 years since President Ronald Regan's education department warned that American students were falling behind their international rivals.

The report, called "A Nation at Risk," urged an overhaul of how, and what, children are taught.

Today, 1 in 4 Americans are failing to earn a high school degree on time and the U.S. is lagging other countries in the percentage of young people who complete college.

Many of the problems the report identified have not been solved.

For today's Feedback at 5:00, what changes would you like to see made within your school system to make it better for students?
