Meredith Barack joined the 9 & 10 News team in September 2012.  

Meredith graduated from Purdue University in May 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication. During her time at Purdue she anchored Fast Track, a weekly news program. She also wrote for The Odyssey, a Fraternity and Sorority publication. She was also an active member of Chi Omega sorority. 

During college, Meredith interned for Artistic Media Partners, WLFI in West Lafayette, IN, and Conan O'Brien's show on TBS. 

Meredith was born and raised in Vernon Hills, IL, a suburb of Chicago. She looks forward to living in Northern Michigan, and immersing herself in everything it has to offer!

    Breaking news tonight, 9&10 News learned convicted murderer Eric Knysz tried to hang himself in prison. We have confirmed Knysz is now on life support. Knysz was just sentenced last week to life in prison
    UPDATE: 9 & 10 News has just confirmed that convicted murderer Eric Knysz has been declared brain dead.

    Knysz was on life support after the suicide attempt that took place Monday afternoon.
