Feedback at 5:00: Michigan Auto Insurance

Posted: Updated:

Yesterday at 5:00, we told you Governor Snyder proposed a plan to lower drivers' auto insurance bills in Michigan.

This would be in exchange for an end to unlimited lifetime medical coverage for people seriously injured in accidents.

Michigan has some of the highest auto insurance rates in the nation and is the only state where drivers pay $175 per car, per year to a fund that covers serious injuries for life.

The new plan could drop the average family's premium by $250.

The Governor proposed capping personal injury protection at $1 million, which he says is still higher than ever other state.

For tonight's "Feedback at 5:00," do you support the Governor's proposed plan or should it remain the same?
