Sheriff Warns of Hidden Dangers on Water Logged Roadways

Posted: Updated:

Even if you don't live near a river, heavy rain can be dangerous.

Drivers need to be especially careful right now.

Isabella County already had water over several roads this morning.

With more rain, the situation will get worse.

The rising river waters have been known to completely wash away dirt roads and create hydroplaning dangers on paved roads.

Even if the road seems to be fine and the water seems to be shallow, it's best not to test it.
