Northwood University Cancels Midland Classes Due to Flooding

Northwood University has canceled classes for the rest of the week due to likely flooding.

Classes are canceled at the Midland campus that runs along the Tittabawassee River.

The Midland County Office of Emergency Management warned that rain may lead to substantial flooding.

The apartments in the South Village part of campus and other areas could flood.

The school is asking South Village residents to pack personal belongings incase of an evacuation.

The school says it will be keeping track of students through the weekend to ensure safety.
