The Boston Marathon is the most prestigious of marathons in the United States.
27,000 runners come from all over the world, some are from Northern Michigan.
Two runners just got back to Big Rapids from Boston this afternoon and the pair have quite the experience to share.
Ben Talsma and Kendall Schroeder both work at Big Rapids Crossroads Academy and luckily were clear of the area hit by the blasts.
They say the best part about the race was the support from the crowd, the same crowd hit the hardest.
