CMU Raises Tuition For In-State Students

Posted: Updated:

Central Michigan University's Board of Trustees have voted to raise tuition costs for in-state students.

The Mount Pleasant school plans to increase tuition by 2.47%, raising costs $9.00 more per credit hour.

Undergraduate, in-state students will now pay $374.00 per credit hour.

Under Governor Rick Snyder's proposed budget, universities wouldn't be able to increase tuition fees by more than 4% or else they would lose part of their state funding.
