Coast Guard Crews from Northern Michigan Help Save a Sick Man On a Canadian Ship

The US Coast Guard helped save a sick man on board a Canadian ship.

Rescue crews got a call around 11:00 last night from the Algoma Navigator.

Crews from stations in Sault Ste. Marie, Traverse City, and the Katmai Bay all responded to help the man on board on the St. Mary's River.

All three worked together to get the patient to War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie.

The man is in stable condition.
