Donations for Gladwin Co. Robbery Victim Reach Over $10,000

Posted: Updated:

As the victim of last month's robbery in Gladwin County recovers, a fundraising effort for him has surpassed its' original goal.

On March 18th, Robinette was struck in the head, and the robbers took several guns.

Police arrested Charles Rowan, Rosalinda Martinez, and Michael Bowman in connection with the robbery.

They remain in jail awaiting trial.

The fundraising site was created to raise money for Richard Robinette and his family to pay for medical bills, and travel expenses to and from the hospital he is at in Flint.

The site's original goal was to raise $5,000, and now just a little over a week after it was set up, over $10,000 have been donated.
