UPDATE: Missing 1-Year-Old in Flint Found Safe

UPDATE: The Amber Alert has been canceled for 1-year-old Deonte Keyes Jr in Flint. The vehicle was found with the child inside, the child was safe.

An Amber Alert has been issued for an endangered missing 1-year-old from Flint.

Flint Police are investigating the kidnapping of 1-year-old Deonte Keyes Jr which occurred late Saturday night.

Police say the child was in the backseat of the car at a gas station at 1330 E. Atherton Road, when the mother left the car running while she ran inside.

Flint Police say a white male about 35 years old jumped into the car and took off with the child in the backseat. The car traveled westbound on Atherton Road and last seen going westbound on Ogema from Hemphill Road.

Police believe the child is in extreme danger. Deonte was wearing a baby blue jacket, gray and blue stripped shirt with dark blue jeans. He has black hair and brown eyes.

The suspect is described as a white male, 35 years old, 6 feet tall. Last seen wearing a beige baseball cap with blue jean brim and a tan coat.

The suspect was driving a Chrysler Cirrus SLV, license plate number CJN4569.
