A police chase in Midland ends in a crash at a local elementary school.
Midland Police tell us they attempted to stop a car for a speeding violation earlier this afternoon on East Haley and Washington.
The driver failed to stop for police and continued to drive at a high speed, ignoring traffic signs and lights.
She then lost control of her car, striking the base of a light pole as well as hitting two unoccupied cars in the parking lot of Adams Elementary School.
Alcohol and/or drug use is believed to be a factor in the crash.
The case is still under investigation.
