UPDATE: Cheboygan Man Sentenced For Child Abuse

Posted: Updated:

We now have an update on a child abuse case we've been following out of Cheboygan County's Benton Township.

Today, a judge sentenced Sean Bauers to spend at least 7 and a half years in prison for abusing his girlfriend's son.

Bauers admitted to the accusation last month.

The investigation started when 1 year old Harlow wound up in the emergency room last Halloween with bruising, bleeding on the brain, and broken ribs.

The prosecutors office believes some of Harlow's injuries are long term.
