UPDATE: Clare County Man Stabbed

Cutsinger was re-arraigned today with an additional charge.

He was originally arrested for assault after stabbing a man in Clare County.

The Prosecutor's Office added a charge of assault with intent to murder to Cutsinger's previous felony complaint.

Cutsinger has been arrested on the new charges and arraigned.

A habitual offender, 2nd offense notice was also added.

The victim has been treated and released from the hospital.

One Clare County man was stabbed several times early Sunday morning.

Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Maple Street in Clare, where they found a man who had several stab wounds from an altercation with another man.

Police arrested David Cutsinger who had fled from the scene.

The victim was taken to Mid Michigan Health Care in Clare, and he was later transferred to a trauma unit in Midland.

Cutsinger was also taken to Mid Michigan Health Care in Clare to be treated for minor injuries, and then transported to the Clare County Jail.

Cutsinger has been charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm.

The incident is still under investigation.
