MSU draws Valpo, Michigan faces SDSU in Auburn Hills Thursday

The NCAA Tournament matchups have been announced.  Here is a breakdown of the notable matchups:

Michigan State is a #3 seed in the Midwest, they play Valparaiso at the Palace of Auburn Hills Thursday.  That game starts at 12:15pm right here on 9&10.  Verne Lundquist, Bill Raftery and Rachel Nichols will announce the game.

Michigan is also headed to the Palace Thursday.  The Wolverines will face South Dakota State as a #4 seed in the South Region at 7:15pm on 9&10 with the same announcers as the Michigan State vs. Valparaiso matchup.

Louisville earned the overall #1 seed which put them in the Midwest Region.  Kansas has the top seed in the South.  Indiana is the top seed in the East.  Gonzaga is the #1 seed in the West.

Pittsburgh features former Mt. Pleasant High School and CMU Basketball star Trey Zeigler.  His Panthers face Witchita State Thursday at 1:40pm on TBS with Spero Dedes, Doug Gottlieb, Jamie Maggio calling the game.

Bucknell has a pair of former Northern Michigan high school stars, Petoskey's Cory Starkey and Pellston's Chris Hass.  The Bison take on Butler Thursday at 12:40pm on TruTV.  Ian Eagle, Jim Spanarkle and Allie Force will call the Bison's contest.
