A change in venue has been announced for the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) Class B State Quarterfinal boys basketball game between Big Rapids and Cadillac.
The two West Michigan schools will now square off against each other on Tuesday, March 19, at Ferris State University's Jim Wink Arena rather than the previously announced location of Houghton Lake.
Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. (ET). All tickets will be general admission seating and the cost is $6 apiece. Parking in lots surrounding the Ewigleben Sports Complex will be $5 per vehicle.
Each school has been allotted 750 tickets for presales and are only available thru the competing schools' athletic offices. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as a potential sellout crowd is expected inside the 2,400-seat facility.
The FSU Athletics Ticket Office, which is located inside the Ewigleben Sports Complex, will open on Tuesday at 9 a.m. (ET) and remain open until gametime for fans to purchase all remaining tickets in person.
No collegiate or high school passes will be accepted per tournament regulations. For more information, please call (231) 591-2888.The doors to Wink Arena will open one hour prior to the scheduled tipoff time on Tuesday.
Big Rapids enters the contest with a 23-1 overall record this season and defeated Sparta 57-49 in the regional championship game on Wednesday evening in Fremont for its first trip to the quarterfinals since 1987.
Meanwhile, Cadillac owns a 20-4 mark this year and was a 60-41 winner over Grayling en route to its third-straight regional crown.
The winner of Tuesday's quarterfinal will advance to the state semifinals on March 22 at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
