Feedback at 5:00: Women Working Full-Time

Posted: Updated:

A new survey shows working moms increasingly want full-time jobs outside their homes.

The Pew Research Center says 37% of women polled prefer to work full-time.

The poll comes during a national debate on women in the workplace ignited by top Facebook executive, Sheryl Sandberg.

She just wrote a new book about the need for women to be more professionally aggressive.

But the shift toward more full-time work, as reflected in the Pew poll, coincides mostly with the recession.

It may have less to do with career ambitions than with financial realities.

For tonight's "Feedback at 5:00," what are your thoughts on the debate?
