Gaylord Bishop Excited for Pope Francis

The excitement could be felt through the 1.2 billion Catholics across the globe and certainly right here in Northern Michigan.

Not knowing much about Cardinal Bergoglio before the conclave, Bishop Hebda of the Diocese of Gaylord says the humility and personality already shown by Pope Francis certainly shows a departure from the more formal styles of Pope John Paul II and Pope Emeritus Benedict.

Pope Francis is a pope of many firsts and Bishop Hebda believes he can stand as a breathe of fresh air for the denomination.
