Clare is Excited to Celebrate Irish Heritage

Posted: Updated:

St. Patty's Day is still a few days away...but green beer is already flowing at local restaurants and pubs.

One Northern Michigan town is celebrating the feast of Saint Patrick a little early.

Clare is excited to show off their Irish heritage this week during the 2013 Irish Festival.

The small Irish town of 3,000 is anxious to see its size triple by the weekend.

The Irish fest is Clare's biggest celebration and they hope to spread Irish cheer to thousands of visitors coming this weekend.

This festival really represents what Clare is all about and how proud they are to keep their heritage alive.
