Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Department Investigating Theft of Propane Tanks

Posted: Updated:

The Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of propane tanks from a local business.

The tanks were kept outside Karlin Market and Deli in Interlochen.

The owner of the tanks says it appears that the person broke the cages they were kept in, and took ten of them.

He is urging other merchants in the area to be aware of the thief, so that this doesn't happen to them.

He says he'll be stepping up security measures to ensure that this doesn't happen again.

If you have any information, you're asked to call the Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Department.
