UPDATE: Missing Girl Found in Kansas With Her Biological Mother

Posted: Updated:

Police have arrested a woman in Kansas for an investigation that started back in November, 2012.

The investigation started when Antrim County police received a report of a parental kidnapping.

Police say 16 year old Abigail Alexander was taken from a foster care home by her mother Jennifer Spicer, and had not been seen since.

On March 8th, Spicer contacted the Butler County Sheriff's Office in Kansas to report that she had both of her daughters in custody, after seeing a missing person poster regarding Abigail at Wal-Mart.

Both of Spicer's daughters were taken into custody by the Butler County Sheriff's Office and transported back to Michigan.

Spicer was arrested on March 12th, and is currently at the Butler County Jail waiting to be taken back to Michigan.

She is being held for one count of Felony Warrant Kidnapping.
