Cheboygan County Drug Arrests

The Straits Area Narcotics Team stopped marijuana, crack cocaine, and methadone from being sold in northern Michigan.

S.A.N.E. officers arrested one person in Cheboygan during a traffic stop for trying to sell heroin, crack, and marijuana.

After executing a search warrant, they then found marijuana in the hotel room of an Honor man in Mackinaw City.

Two more arrests were made by Michigan State Police after a traffic stop in Gaylord.

S.A.N.E. requested the stop because they believed the driver was linked to the investigation.

During the stop, troopers say the suspects had crack, heroin, cocaine, cash and digital scales in his car.

The passenger was also arrested.

S.A.N.E. says the investigation is still underway and they expect more arrests to be made.
