Feedback at 5:00: Korean Peninsula

Posted: Updated:

9&10 News is closely following the situation on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. and South Korea launched joint military exercises with nearly 15,000 soldiers taking part.

North Korea has called the exercises provocative and threatens to launch a nuclear attack on the U.S. and scrap the armistice that ended the Korean War.

The move comes after the U.N. passed even tighter restrictions against North Korea following the country's nuclear test last month.

Experts do not believe the communist country can build a nuclear warhead small enough to mount on a long range missile.

Are you concerned about the situation on the Korean Peninsula? It's tonight's "Feedback at 5:00."
