Scouts and representatives from 26 NFL teams made their way to Mt. Pleasant today for Central Michigan University's annual Pro Day.
15 CMU seniors took to the turf inside the Indoor Athletic Complex, with everyone keeping a close eye on offensive tackle Eric Fisher. A sure-fire first round pick, Fisher is seen by many draft experts as a top ten pick, with some even liking him to be the number one overall pick.
Fisher took part in offensive lineman drills at Pro Day, but did not do any testing because his numbers from the NFL Combine are enough to stand on their own. The Chiefs own the number one pick in the NFL Draft, but did not have anyone at Pro Day because Fisher is scheduled to make a private visit to Kansas City later this month.
San Francisco 49ers offensive lineman and Green Bay Packers linebacker Frank Zombo were among the former CMU Chippewas in attendance for Pro Day.
