UPDATE: Grand Rapids Area Man in Jail After Leading Police on a Chase

A Grand Rapids area man is in the Mecosta County jail tonight after police say he led them on a chase and hit a patrol car.

Keith Graham is charged with running from police Saturday.

The chase that started near Big Rapids ended in Morley.

Police originally tried to stop Graham for speeding.

They say he then took off until he ran off the road near US 131 and then backed into a patrol car to escape.

Police arrested Graham after his car got stuck.

No one was hurt.

Deputies say a man will face charges after leading police on a chase..

Mecosta County deputies tried to pull the man over for speeding on Northland Drive near 12 mile Road just before midnight on Saturday. The driver took off onto Jefferson Road in Morley heading west toward US 131. Deputies say the suspect drove into a snow bank near the entrance ramp for southbound US 131. They say he rammed the patrol car and got stuck.

The suspect is from Wyoming, Michigan.
